BALLS

BALLS

Between the rigour of sports and the chaos of creation, BALLS (2018) straddles the space between intense sports and the softness of caring. The choreography evokes images of high energy boxing, football drills, and elegant Greek Olympic statues. The feminine sextet proposes a dynamic contemporary dance that stages competition in juxtaposition with collaboration, where the public is invited to participate or even sometimes become the referee.
