tr*ck me
tr*ck me is the art baby of steph cyr and Kait Ramsden.
A trio, we are partners in good crime with each other and our beloved Ford Ranger.
A public outdoor performance, the parking lot is our altar.
We feel the truck as a fellow dancing body with its heavy metallic range of movement, power, sound and light. When the three of us move together, parameters emerge, creating a vocabulary with specific demands and potential.
The audience’s experience of being with/in the work – their sense of touch, sight, sound, taste, and smell – are all potent portals for the dances we make.
Akin to musicians playing a set or a travelling circus, we roll up, draw people towards one another and host a great time.
tr*ck me contains scenes of:
-driving
-sexuality
-loud music
-thirst
-headbanging
-spectacle
-dirty talk
-love triangles
-objectification
-showmanship
-excess
-crushing
-obedience
We’re only here for the gasoline.
